About Patino Enterprises

The year 2014 marks 60 years since Russell Patton bought his first building to begin an apartment rental business that would grow to be known as Russell Patton Apartments. The transaction at the bank was backed by a note signed by his father Harry Patton. In the early years, he bought and renovated older buildings in his spare time as he was employed in the family wood business and eventually owned and operated Patton’s Fuel Service.

Russell and his wife Marjorie operated the business office from their home.

Eventually their three sons and two daughters became involved in the daily operations of the business. In 1987, the company built their first new apartment building at 8 Elm Street. With that followed a 40 unit building at 486 Robie Street that won the 1996 Tilt-Up Achievement Award . The latest addition was a 27 unit apartment building with underground parking at 49 Kaulback Street, known as The Kenzington.

In 1992 the family formed a company and Russell Patton Apartments became Patino Enterprises Limited. The family endeavors to uphold their father’s example of providing friendly, honest and courteous service to their tenants.
